Just thinking out loud here so don't kill me.

I know there is ads on here and other sites about places to order mice. I know there is other forums with a Sticky in the feeders section with places list to order or links to other sites web pages.

Would you all think it is a good idea to create a list for people to let them know most of the choices/business out there for frozen rodents? When the list is as complete as can be make a complete listing and Sticky it in the feeders section?
 
The only downside I see is, free advertising. Some rodent suppliers choose to pay to have their ads listed on this site, I think it is counterproductive to list those who do not choose to pay for advertising, especially if we are not allowed to sell snakes without a membership!

Well if that is the case what do you do when a newbie asks and everyone lists the exact same thing? There is no difference is there? I mean someone could search for the companies in our posts or posts with tags. I don't really see much of a difference except it takes more effort to find it the search way. With the searching way most newbies will not make the effort and the listing will come via members when they ask. So why no be a friendly site and have it posted? That is why we are here to be friendly and help other snake/reptile owners isn't it?

List the ones that advertise first? Link their ads/websites? What about foreign or Canadian suppliers? This would help a lot of people. I am going to drop it after this post since I am guessing the majority of the members here knows suppliers already.

Just my $0.02 again.......
 
OK, if they can get the information simply by doing a search, then they don't need a sticky. No one reads the stickies anyway. :rolleyes:
