It is what it is!!!
Hello I am new to the form as well as new to keeping snakes. I just bought my first snake today. I have been keeping fish for years, currently have a reef tank and a lake Malawi African cichlid tank.

Welcome. You picked a great forum. Lots of people with lots of knowledge and willing to share.

Hi new corn guy and welcome to your new addiction. So do you work at a big chain pet store, you mentioned in your other thread you got your snake at work? A few things the thermometer you have really doesn't do much good the snake doesn't live on the side of the tank, you need to measure temp on substrate. Your snake might also appreciate more hides, toilet paper tubes work well and some fake greenery. The dollar store usually has cool stuff for greenery.

Thanks, Yeah i am working on more hides for him right now. I am planing on getting a new thermometer i really just have it for the humidity. I can already tell its not that great had it out side the tank for awhile and my house is at 75 and it looked like it was reading 70 to 72.:D

As I said in your other thread please read the stickies at the beginning of sub-forum. It is not advised to feed a snake the day you get and to leave it alone for the first week. Then only handle to feed for a couple weeks. These snakes stress and can regurge because of stress, not fun, for you or the snake.
