Howdy All. We adopted a 12 yr handsome fella about two weeks ago. His previous owner recently had a baby and couldn't give "Marty" the attention he was used to. She asked some naturalist friends for suggestions of a good home and we were the first pick. He has been a blast. Who would have thought snakes could be funny, but Marty is. I'm glad we found this site to help us with the questions that we will have. Books and websites can only go so far.

Yay! Good for you, adopting an adult. I adopted a 13 year old Snow a few months ago, I agree; they are cute as babies but once they develop a personality they are hilarious! My biggest boy is definitely in "spring fever/mating season" mode, he glides back and forth as I walk by wanting me to take him out and hold him. I feel like a teenager again with a boy having a crush on me!

Don't hesitate to ask any questions here, the only stupid questions are the ones not asked.

Now, we need pics or Marty never happened!
