And Noah wasn't going to hang around when she was done, either. She's got places to go, people to see!!

Thanks for looking!

She was trying to do it inside her hide!! I never would have known she shed unless I went looking for it...She's been blue since before Christmas! Her last shed was in September and she's gained about a hundred grams since then.

She is is very pretty, Nanci. Thanks for the pics.

I want to ask you a couple of questions (on topic, IMHO). Of the couple I have seen IRL, where yours is grey and blue and maybe a little brownish-olive, the ones I have seen had two (or three) largish longitudinal stripes that were extremely terra cotta colored. So I did some research and there appear to be 5-ish subspecies. Which one is yours?
Yours is anery? I did not know that.
Which one(s) would you recommend? (For non-terracotta-loving tastes.)

Well, I'm not sure. You can find aneries and ghosts in some localities, but they are expensive. Amels are much more common, and are a bright orange. I think you have to decide on which pattern you like, the strongly, obviously striped, like the mexican, (which, coincidentally is also the least terra cotta, even in normal coloration) or the less obviously striped pattern, like Noah. I never could decide on which locality I liked the most, and then I met Noah at Daytona and it became obvious that what I really loved was a blue-eyed anery, who cares about the locality, Noah was the perfect Rosy. Sean Niland has a pretty nice selection, in season. There will be a few at Daytona.

There are only a couple books. Boas Rosy& Ground by Jerry G. Walls has good pics. The rosy section on FC is not much used, but there are some experts there. People with the rarest morphs.

Oh, Noah is a Charina [Lichanura] trivirgata gracia.

This is what a normal Pioneertown looks like. Sean Niland photo.

So, Noah is a Desert Rosy Boa.

The picture above is not bad. At least school-bus-yellow is better than terra cotta.
I like the blues and greys of yours, though.

I'm partial to the strong striping of a Mexican, myself. Like Eric, I'm not huge on the range of terra cotta to mottled terra cotta on grey that most normal localities offer.
