Now, a question of etiquette -

Interview with the Vampire! I really thought that was a bad movie...

"Does not a queen sit under the same stars as any other woman?"
Another one of my fav's!

Elizabeth

"I believe in a long prolonged derangement of the senses to attain the unknown... Although I live in the subconscious, our pale reason hides the infinite from us. "

The Doors! AA - I think you and I have different tastes in movies... :)

"You shall wear it when you find Eden, and when you return, I shall be your Eve."
This is from my favorite movie ever. Everyone should see it!

The Fountain - that was a good, but strange movie.

"I heard the music of true forgiveness filling the theater, conferring on all who sat there, perfect absolution. God was singing through this little man to all the world, unstoppable, making my defeat more bitter with every passing bar."

The Fountain! I looove Darren Arronofsky (sp?)

Here's mine:

"There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die."

From one of my favorite movies ever.

Dumb and Dumber - Lloyd

Serenity - Mal
One of my more recent favorite movies!!

This is an easy one....

" In third grade, I cheated on my history exam. In fourth grade, I stole my uncle Max's toupee and I glued it on my face when I was Moses in my Hebrew School play. In fifth grade, I knocked my sister Edie down the stairs and I blamed it on the dog... When my mom sent me to the summer camp for fat kids and then they served lunch I got nuts and I pigged out and they kicked me out... But the worst thing I ever done - I mixed a pot of fake puke at home and then I went to this movie theater, hid the puke in my jacket, climbed up to the balcony and then, t-t-then, I made a noise like this: hua-hua-hua-huaaaaaaa - and then I dumped it over the side, all over the people in the audience. And then, this was horrible, all the people started getting sick and throwing up all over each other. I never felt so bad in my entire life. "

The Goonies!!

"If you don't have anything nice to about anyone, come sit by me..."

Steel Magnolias? Why do I know that :grin01:

"There's Visinksy. He was from my village.
- He was the village idiot.
- Yeah, what did you do? Place?"

He was the village idiot.
- Yeah, what did you do? Place?
Love and Death

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

Since this one got skipped...I will try it again:
"I heard the music of true forgiveness filling the theater, conferring on all who sat there, perfect absolution. God was singing through this little man to all the world, unstoppable, making my defeat more bitter with every passing bar."

Amadeus. That was such a great movie.

"I don't believe in marriage. No, I really don't. Let me be clear about that. I think at worst it's a hostile political act, a way for small-minded men to keep women in the house and out of the way, wrapped up in the guise of tradition and conservative religious nonsense. At best, it's a happy delusion - these two people who truly love each other and have no idea how truly miserable they're about to make each other. But, but, when two people know that, and they decide with eyes wide open to face each other and get married anyway, then I don't think it's conservative or delusional. I think it's radical and courageous and very romantic."

Frida

"Once upon a time, a woman was picking up firewood. She came upon a poisonous snake frozen in the snow. She took the snake home and nursed it back to health. One day the snake bit her on the cheek. As she lay dying, she asked the snake, "Why have you done this to me?" And the snake answered, "Look, b**h, you knew I was a snake."

Natural born killers

"Somebody like you can really make things all right for me."

Requiem for a dream?

"I'm an angel. I kill firstborns while their mamas watch. I turn cities into salt. I even, when I feel like it, rip the souls from little girls, and from now till kingdom come, the only thing you can count on in your existence is never understanding why."

Aye, one of my favourite films.

"The women prefer the traditional monsters."

OK had to make sure I got the German correct:
Do you remember "Das männlein im walde", Herr Dortlich? Mischa loved that song. Let's sing for Mischa!

Hannibal Rising, a movie I enjoyed more than most, it seems.

"They look like big, strong hands, don't they?"
