Oak and Olive

:wavey: Hi Nanci!! Hi Janine!

Thanks for the welcome back, it means a lot to me.

Hopefully these guys will be shedding soon! Hehehe, I have a lot of roommates who are pretty into Oak and Olive and very curious about holding or watching me hold them. Olive is just a ham, and Oak.. well.. he's getting a LITTLE better, but not a whole lot. He at least hasn't struck at me since his last feeding. :grin01:
I think he's getting a little more comfortable. While I think his little hateling antics are cute, I hope they don't last for TOO long. Hopefully he'll shed soon and I'll be able to get some nice new pictures.

Geeze it feels good to be back.

Beautiful little guys! I also have a phantom and a pewter from VMS, both that I'm totally in love with. Good choices, for sure. :)

Oak Shed!

It's funny how with way less snakes their EVERY move is a milestone. "Oh, is that a poop?!!" and.. "Are you just grumpy cause you're going blue?!!!"

Heh, anyway, I've been obsessively looking into Oak's viv hoping to see a shed ALL WEEKEND! Of course he held out on me until Monday night.

Anyway, I woke up early especially so I could do a photo shoot as soon as I woke up. Oak was NOT as happy about it as I was!
Here are my favorites from the shoot:

He's back to his snappy self!

Ack.. look at that ADORABLE little face!

I think this is going to be Oak's quintessential pose. At least he gave me a nice belly shot this time instead of Mr. Mad Triangle Head Face!

Of course I couldn't resist taking Olive out too. I love Olive, she always pokes her head out of her water bowl hide and watches me. I think this last time she was saying, "Mom, I'm hungry! You're really stretching this 5 day thing!"
After this shoot she was rewarded with a nice meal. :D

Wow. Beautiful snakes! Olive is so pretty, and I love Oak's triangle head.
I'm new, so I can't really welcome you back, but welcome back anyhow. :)

Hi Jessica,

both of them are so beautiful. I almost bought a phantom fro
vms last week. I held back though because my collection is growing way faster than I wanted it too. Keep posting the photos. I'm interested to see hem grow and change. I love both morphs so much.

Take care and welcome back.

Thanks guys!! Oh and I just realized.. that I forgot (how could I!??) this cute little belly shot of Olive. Hehehe, sorry for kinda over posting pictures of these guys, I guess I'm a bit over excited.
I suppose I should at least make these guys their own threads though.

Forgotten belly shot:

Oh, and Gillian, that's awesome that you own a Phantom AND a Pewter both from VMS! What years are they? Are any of your other snakes some of Sean's babies? I'm off to go trifling through your old threads now.. ;D

Thanks Tom! Definitely missed the place.. Also hope to own more of your snakes some day when I'm in a stable enough place to own a larger collection again.
