Hi folks,
Not new to snakes, but had let my collection get down to two from 13 about five years back. I still have the one that started my corn addiction 11 years ago. A male mom and pop pet store snow. Also, have an albino ball python male. But the one that has got me back buying is a new under priced ghost from petsmart. I hate to bash businesses, but have never seen them do anything but push products and hurt (or kill) reptiles and amphibians while waiting for them to sell. So i could not let this little beauty just chance it. Within three days of buying this little one i have booked a hotel in Daytona. So look forward to reintroducing myself in this great hobby and forum that helped me when I started years ago.
 
Cool! Usually a lot of us go to Daytona. This year, some are! We have super-good rates at the Marriott- there's a thread somewhere. Like $75 for a two bed two bath...it's a fun show. We're probably going to dinner somewhere Saturday night.
 
Thanks Nanci, it may sound foolish but we are going to slide down friday and come on back home saturday night. Like i said i have caught the bug again. My bother and i went down about seven years ago and have been trying to get back ever since. Something has always come up like work or family actually had to cancel reservations a couple years. I am really stoked to be able to go just for the day.
 
Welcome back and congrats on the new baby. Falling off the wagon was a perfect name for this thread as well.
 
Everyone should be there on Friday night (I am driving out from Tampa after work) and will probably meet up to hang out or go to dinner. You are certainly welcome to join us - the more the merrier! And we love to meet the new folks!
