Well, Evee, there truly should be a stupidometer, and if you fail they yell "HEY YOU! OUT OF THE GENE POOL"!
I actually contacted her last week about the snake, we are about 2 hours apart but she never responded to when I asked her if she would meet me even part of the way at a truck stop or filling station.
I am sure there are thousands of people stealing others' photos but I had just happened to get on CL and saw the stolen one, then I see the photo section of Google!
I wrote him a nasty note admonishing him for stealing others' hard work, especially if it is stamped by the owner. I think I sounded official, but we'll see!

Zeina, that is a baby. The skin is so translucent and you can see the yellow on his back. I am in search of an all white corn, beit Blizzard, Whiteout or a good Snow. I just got my black Mexican King snake and LOVE him, it would be cool to put their vivs next to each other.

Steve informed me my lava opal should be all white when he's an adult, so I am very interested in seeing how he turns out- I wanted an all white snake to kind of contrast my bright yellow/orange one.

Looking for a good home for two corn snakes, ages 6 (female) and 7 (male) approximately. If you're interested in both snakes, the terrarium is yours as well. Looking for $60 for stand.
6yo female is a little less than 4 feet long, amelanistic coloring (no idea about her underlying genetics). If you're interested in her for breeding, she usually lays two clutches a year, one in March-April and one in June-July.
7yo male is about 3 feet long, common coloring (again, no idea about underlying genetics).
IMPORTANT: Need someone who isn't squeamish, 7yo snake has a back malformation (think scoliosis) that makes it difficult for him to strangulate prey. His future owner needs to be comfortable killing prey by hand just before feeding (which I can show you how to do), or only feeding him pinkies (and being able to handle it when the pinkies cry). He is completely healthy otherwise, and has produced fertilized eggs with my female for several years now (I don't know how they turned out though, I gave them to the pet store to be hatched).
The stand is approximately 41" long x 19.5" deep x 27" tall. Let me know if you need more accurate measurements and I'll see what I can do.
I think the terrarium is a 40gal long, but I'm not certain.

That one made me cry as well, not just for the adult snake but for the small ones that he had bred, then I got angry at the stupid human that put that little guy though all of that. Not to mention the poor people that bought the babies thinking they were going to get a healthy snake, not one with a possible genetic defect. And I bet he didn't bother telling that pet store owner of the issue either.

The answer to your second and third questions is: He's an idiot.
Why would anyone with two neurons to rub together breed an unhealthy animal? You don't need to be a corn snake expert to know that breeding any animal is a heavy responsibility and that you never breed an unhealthy animal.
I wonder if anyone in the Tuscon area can inquire, get the name of the pet shop, and give them a call.

I'll try to keep this short. Our youngest daughter always wanted a snake & a week before xmas 08 I found out that a coworker was into reptiles & happened to have a baby corn. He's not a breeder but after getting another corn, he found 6 eggs and hatched them. Obviously, he didn't check the sex. We never had a reptile before, and this is the only 1 (reptile) we've ever had.
I have no idea if it's a M or F, but we've always referred to it as "her". For the last few years i've been the only one taking care of her. Being a huge animal lover, I honestly feel bad that she's only taken out for feeding and cleaning.
She has always been very active and very easy to handle.
So i'm thinking about selling her. If I posted pics of her, could someone tell me what kind of corn she is? And approx price I should ask for her and all of her accessories? I'm more concerned that she's well taken care of than the $$.
There are 8 pics of her on my profile. All are when we first got her.

Ever Evolving Exotics
Soooo. I jumped on this thread to just see if I could have a laugh or two and I think I may have found more than I bargained for. From what I know, my store (Ever Evolving Exotics) is the only one in Tucson that really breeds snakes or even has an incubator and I think those eggs came through our doors. I did hatch the clutch and all the babies looked, ate, and behaved fine. Hmmmmm.
