Ok new snake owner 2.0

Very pretty! My first thought is that she is a Tessera sibling.
The Tessera gene has been known to alter the "normal" siblings patterning, some looking aztec-ish.
In my first Tessera pairing that I did with Tara Smith, we ended up with three "normal" babies that had the aztec like pattern. We called them "Taztecs"

I now have a Tessera sibling from Steve Roylance, that I recognized right away as a Tessera sibling.

The first two pics are of a baby I produced (as hatchling, and as an adult), in the joint pairing with Tara.
The last pic is of the one I got from Steve.

I found hatchling pics of the other two babies from the clutch Tara and I procuded. You can see the variability in the affected pattern.

I would bet money that your girl is out of a Tessera clutch. :)

How is your new snakey doing? I've been reading about your troubles and happy you found another one! Did you name him/her yet? (unless I missed it somewhere!) Hope all is going well!

He is doing great and I named him Basil. I have no idea where that came from but I like it lol. He has been eating well and getting bigger so fingers crossed I am on the right path now.
