OOPS Never properly introduced myself!

AliCat37

Michelle's Candied Corns!
Well, I forgot to introduce myself when I joined, so here it goes!
We'll just call me AliCat- I'm from a town just south of Colorado Springs and only moved once and that was my first venture out into the world of "real" school. In college is also where I got my first snake, Jasper. He was an anery corn who sadly lost his life to my cat when he decided he wanted to go exploring without me :(
Any way, now I have 5 snakes, they are my pets and hobby. I eventually want to run a wolf rescue, so I am going to school for zoology. I love my reptiles dearly, but wolves always have been my passion. So here are my critters!!
My oldest snake is my 2 year old ball python, I got him a few months after I got my first corn. Everyone else is a year old. Jello is my frilled dragon and I'm not sure how old she is, I am guessing about 5-6 months.

Anyway- Top picture is Ramesses my wonderful normal ball python. He gets manhandled by kids all the time.

Next two pics- Owl my normal motley corn snake. He's a complete sweetheart.

Fourth- Envy my anery. She is in shed, so I apologize for the kinda yucky picture haha.

Fifth- Dastan my BCI (possibly BCI x BCO). He's already got some more size of him since that picture which I took last month. Growing like a weed.. and he's got an attitude.

Next post first two pics- Zephyr my new lavender dude. He's not really used to being handled and enjoys musking me. But he's already pretty chill other than the poop shoot that I talked about in general chit chat.

Lastly,
Jello, my frilled dragon. She's kind of a jerk, but she should calm down to the same attitude as a beardie with handling.

Very nice looking animals. I hope my Niterii (hypo Colombian RTB) is that big at one year! :D

Thank you everyone!!
And Grankin, I am sure that she will be :) I fed Dastan once a week, but I think I am going to move him to every ten days now since he is eating small rats. Hopefully Niterii won't be a jerk like him :,(

Lol so far she is a sweetheart. Loves to check EVERYTHING out when we bring her out to play. :D The breeder I got her from had her on rat pinks so I am just going to stick with rats as well. :D

Lol the whole biting and hissing thing has been a recent development. I think I'll just have to handle him more. It's more of a cage aggression thing I think, since once he's out of his cage he is generally calm. The hissing thing just started a few days ago with him. Maybe he's upset about the lizard haha.

huh, Zephyr was in shed too haha. He just shed this morning. I guess I wasn't hallucinating the other day when I saw his eyes cloudy then xd

Your owl reminds me so much of my Mango, a hypo motley. I loooove motleys. ;)

Sometimes he does look a little hypo to me! Motleys are definitely a favorite of mine, just because of the clear bellies :) Envy is het motley, and Owl is het Motley stripe snow, so eventually they will be my first little breeding project. I like snows and hopefully I could get a motley stripe female from them. I know nothing of genetics, so I could be wrong. But there is always hope haha. Owl's mom is a motley sunglow, and his dad is a stripe anery. I'm not sure on Envy's parentage, just that she's het motley. Zephyr is het everything in the world, but I'll find him a nicer female.

Haha! Here are some more flattering pictures of Envy, since she has now shed! She's so much smaller than my males :( I think she was a problem eater when I got her, since she's only a few weeks younger than Owl and so much smaller. I got her in March, and she was hatched in August 2010.
