Panthers (Chams, that is)!

Lynnea

That's "lin-NAY-ah"
I finally took the plunge and bought a pair of '10 Ambilobe Panthers. I've been thinking of doing this for over a year now. So it turned out my next-table neighbors at Daytona were--yes, you guessed it!--Panther Cham breeders (Kaleidoscope)! Holy cow, how could I resist, esp. since there was Leo in the cage closest to my table. And when Theresa offered me a very sweet little girl for $100, I couldn't resist that, either...sigh!!

I just took their photos; they are sound asleep after an exhausting 7-1/2 hour car ride home from Daytona!

They're exquisite, Lynnea.

I'm glad you had an uneventful ride. It makes me feel like I have a little camaraderie...in that I have an 11 hour ride still before me. I don't know of much more that could have inspired me to aspire to such a monumental drive,...when I so hate driving.

Thank you, Eric! I was so pleased to meet you.

Ouch--your ride is a lot longer than mine was, and if you don't like driving, that would be torturous. Fortunately, I enjoy driving a lot, so it didn't bother me too much. I just would like to have had company!

I hope your journey is/was safe!

Thanks, y'all! The male is still a juvenile, so he will become even more brilliant as he matures. He even gets dark reds when he's upset or mad--how appropriate!

We tried putting Lulu in with him at first, but he kept pawing at her, wanting to mate with her! She finally had enough and developed some black bars, which basically means "Bug off!" So I had to get a separate cage for her. Theresa was really surprised by his behavior; she said at his age, they usually are still immature sexually. This does bode well for the future, though!

Outstanding pick ups! I do love chameleons and maybe someday will finally get one. Hope you keep us updated with pics of these two.

They are so adorable! I feel like putting a blankie on sleeping little Leo!! Good thing I have a dragon that tolerates that sort of thing...

Gorgeous chameleons!! I love the panthers. We get to see Screameleons every year at MARS. Always great to drool over.

But if you think a mere SEVEN hours is exhausting, try SEVENTEEN!!! The capital beltway SUCKS!
