"Paradox" Anery?

A few months ago I noticed some red spots on Pleione, my little anery female. I've seen the paradox amels that have black spots, but I've never noticed red on an anery before. Has anyone else ever seen this before? Can anyone tell me anything about it?

I have a ghost with a very small orange spot. Over the years I've had a few corns with a small paradox spot of color, but never anything as obvious as yours. I suspect a decent percentage of corns have some small amount of paradox coloration on them somewhere but most probably go unnoticed.

I believe that all of my ghosts have an orange spot somewhere on them. Some of my anerys as well, but I don't know if all of them do. I simply may not have found them all yet.

I just checked and she has more spots further down closer to her vent. Yes, I'm planning on breeding her in a couple of years. Really I'm curious if she's anery or charcoal. The man I rescued her from hadn't planned on having a clutch at all, he cohabbed his snakes, and he didn't even know what it meant for a snake to be het for a gene much less that his snakes weren't just "regular normals." She's almost a year and still hasn't developed very much yellow. I'll be happy to know what she actually is.

Interesting, thanks Susan. I don't have the experience to know if this is something normal or not. Have you noticed if its more common on anery a or charcoal?

That's really cool, I think it gives her more character and a little twist to the color of the rest of her. It will be cool if she gets more spots with age.

One of my ghosts has a single tiny orange dot. And I discovered one on my anery, Liam, as well recently.
