This has always been an interesting subject for me. When making a purchase should you pay any additional expense over the purchase price to cover paypal fees??:shrugs:
Does that mean that the ppl that I may buy from have to pay a fee thru paypal if I send it as payment owed? or instant payment?
But in a situation where I was hit with a surprise fee as a buyer, I just paid it. What's a few bucks over the 20 year lifetime of a snake. Not to mention, the way I ship, it probably just covers my materials.
As the seller, I suck it up. It's nice when someone sends payment as a gift, so there isn't a fee. But I'm not selling the big bucks snakes, so 4% isn't a life or death amount, anyway.
Does the buyer protection really work out for live animals, anyway? The only case I've heard of it didn't.
Not sure if I should answer a flat 'yes' or 'no' to the poll 'cuz I feel like if it's stated in the original purchase price & the buyer agrees to pay the extra then fine, but it should not be a surprise.
