Peaches - Albino ?????? Ratsnake

RobbiesCornField

Bring it on.
I'm debating between Yellow rat, and Black rat. Not entirely sure. This is the wild one that was caught a few months ago. Any opinions?

I was thinking that as well. It does seem to have a similar appearance to the gorgeous one in your avatar, structurally, and with the yellow face. I would imagine it's an albino yellow rat snake too.

If its indeed a wild snake and not a released captive, it could not be a Black rat, as they do not occur in FL. ;)

I think it's a Gulf Hammock X Yellow Rat....

Amelanistic. An albino strain is currently being bred in fairly small numbers. The strain originated from a wild caught specimen from the west coast of Florida near the Tampa area. The colors consist of orange-yellow blotches on a yellowish-white ground color.

Edit* This is from the Hybrid Forum I'm a member of....

I'm willing to bet its just a albino Yellow rat snake..LOL

here ya go Robbie...you said you don't know if its a male of female..?
