Peek at the first redfactor clutch

I am so far calling this one a fire, doesn't look like one until you see the clear belly. Last year I thought I had one and after shed you could see belly checks so will wait until shed to say for sure.

First of all, excellent photo!

Secondly, it's really cool you've got so many pipping at the same time, I bred my first ever clutch this year. I have 22 eggs and only 1 or 2 have been pipping a day so it has taken just over a week since the first one hatched and I still have 5 to go.

Anyway, good luck!

Yes it should be lol and I would like to say a special thank you to Nanci for sending the female here to live with me. Oh Ochre says thank you also lol

You're welcome, Bob! It's sooooo hard to let adults go. I knew she would have a good home with you.

My last three finally came out of the eggs last night late. They all now how to drive you nuts waiting on them. lol

I know how you feel crotalis. I keep checking, I finally thought I could predict how long they stay leaving there heads out for, it was around 12 hours and then one came out after about 3 or 4. They like being unpredicatable.
