Pet Snake Snacks?

Howdy! :wavey:

My friends and I were planning on going to the San Antonio Reptile show to pick up some frozen feeders instead of paying S&H, etc. So, I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about Pet Snake Snacks? I know they'll be there, but don't know if any other sellers will be in attendance. I've heard great things about The Mouse Factory, but would really, really like to not pay S&H if possible.

Thanks for y'all's help!

I have not heard of them, BUT since you will be there, you can inspect the quality of their feeders yourself.

If that doesn't work out, you should check out http://www.bigcheeserodents.com/. They're in Forth Worth, and I see you're in Texas. I know it's a big state, but maybe the drive would be doable? I'm sure you could arrange to pick up. Their address is not on their website, so here is their yellowpages info. http://www.yellowpages.com/name/TX/big-cheese-rodents

Yeah, I'll do that. :}

And Ft. Worth is a considerable drive for me. It would cost more in gas to drive there and back then S&H. The drive to San Antonio is shorter, but I have 3 people going with me, so gas will be split. They won't want to go to Ft. Worth, I think. :\

I still have feeders left, so if it comes to it, and Snake Snacks is questionable, I'll just order from TMF. Oo, perhaps my friends and I can all go in together on an order...

'The Mouse Factory' all the way. Miss Edna is a dearie. I've actually been to the Alpine, Marfa, Fort Davis area...so it just feels right.
Shipping & Handling is miniscule, IMHO, considering the trouble of gas, planning a trip, time driving, destination maybe having a product, maybe not.
Having snake food delivered to my door, where I can sign for it in my pajamas, then go back to bed....is priceless.

My vote share an order.... or go in together and raise your own.. Thats what me and a buddy of mine did..... 50 bucks a month for maintence 18 colonies and we sell to others and have just started turning a profit on the mice. Wooohooo extra money and plenty of food. Time for a new snake(If the horse doesnt run through the barn again. Uggggg)
