Hey guys! I took a bunch of pics of my little dude/dudette tonight, including a couple tail pics, and was wondering if someone could maybe tell the sex, he/she is too dark to candle, and I'm not willing to risk injuring my snake trying to use other methods myself.

What a cutie! I would not be surprised if that anery was a male. But he hasn't had time to really develop his "stuff," so I'd check again in a year.
 
I'm thinking this snake is a yearling. I got it in February, and it was only being fed one pinkie every two weeks so it was pretty small when I got it, and since it had three feedings at the store, they had had it for at least six weeks. I don't know how long the breeder would have kept it before they sent it to the store. Assuming the snake hatched at a normal-ish time, it should be about a year, should it not?

reading the title of this thread I wasn't sure what to expect when I opened it. But I would try to help anyway I can.
Small but my guess is a little boy.
 
Haha I think so too. The place I for him from only Fed once every two weeks, and he is pretty small even though I'm pretty surehe's s yearling. I hope he catches up soon
 
wow he sure has plumped up! And for external visual alone, I would still vote boy. The base of the tail seems to extend quite a bit before tapering off.
