Picture Day Part 3...Venomous

Thanks much everyone!

To tell you the truth not a lot of people breed copperheads because they considered a pretty "low end" snake. But these have a pretty unique color that I would just like to see how it carries over.

LOL, yeah the Gab. is very young about 5 months old only about 12" long I got her late this last summer....she's got quite a ways to go yet.

Much appreciate all the complients! glad everyone enjoyed the pics.

What beautiful, interesting snakes you have! this is a pic i took at the Artis Zoo, last march in Amsterdam...what your girl will grow to be?
not trying to hijack your thread, or take away from your snakes. (not that i could, they're showstoppers!)

I have no idea. I ended up lost because of that snake...theres more pics in my profile album of some other reptiles from the zoo...but i spent so long looking at this snake my dad (went to the zoo with me) thought i'd gone back to the hotel without him, so he left! i had to figure out how to get back all alone. Thankfully it was only a short walk, i managed...but for a moment it was all panic.

AWESOME!!..Gaboon Vipers are so chunkey cute!..
aweee.....But you have some beautiful animals..
Thanks for sharing!

Contortrix is my all time favorite hot. It's also nice to see someone keeping piscivorus as I think it's an underappreciated snake. The hypo version is gorgeous if you've ever seen one.

They really are....lot of people are like "Ehhhh Copperhead or otherwise" personally I think they look awesome! Yeah the Hypos are definitely neat looking....saw they have a "Lucy" one now too....crazy price, but very neat looking!

Pretty much like anything else, except secure caging is a "must have" and you handle them with hooks instead of your hands. Takes a little getting used to, but venomous are more of a "display" type keep, not a "pet".

I am a huge fan of the copperheads but that gaboon is just amazing! I don't think I will ever be brave enough to have a HOT but I will always drool over them. Thanks for sharing.
