I would think that breeding a lavender with a pied sided blood would create hets. Thus far, pied has been linked with bloodred, so by pairing a pied blood to a lavender would produce this:
100% normal het. lavender het. pied sided bloodred.
We have a pair of bloodreds het lavender het piedsided from 08, who will breed next year.
I wanted them this year but I tihnk one year more is better and I have the time.

Also, I'm just starting to learn about ball python morphs--very fascinating! Anyway, the calico gene seems to be similar to the corn's pied gene, in that you can breed two low-expressions together and get high expression and vice-versa.
