Pied problem!

So is there anyway Pied can be put in say a plain Lavender or normal?

I would think that breeding a lavender with a pied sided blood would create hets. Thus far, pied has been linked with bloodred, so by pairing a pied blood to a lavender would produce this:

100% normal het. lavender het. pied sided bloodred.

It's possible if you bred the F1 of that together though, you'd get lavbloodpieds, right? That'd be big money, no matter how you look at it.

We have a pair of bloodreds het lavender het piedsided from 08, who will breed next year.
I wanted them this year but I tihnk one year more is better and I have the time.
I will post pics of the pair the next days.
Greetings
Chris

Now *that's* something I'm going to love seeing!

Also, I'm just starting to learn about ball python morphs--very fascinating! Anyway, the calico gene seems to be similar to the corn's pied gene, in that you can breed two low-expressions together and get high expression and vice-versa.

This thread is fascinating. I can't wait to see what happens as we learn more about the pied gene. *drool* Pied lavs....
