Pink & Coral Favorites, 2008

Sonnet was the favorite Neon x Coral from 2007. I bred him back to his Coral Snow mother in 2008. There were only a few eggs producing 5.1 hatchlings. All of them have the intense coral but this guy's the favorite:

Here's an in-the-box shot from November...he really is this color!

I also used Sonnet with Peony, another Neon Pink, for her second clutch. Here is one of the males:

And another from that pairing:

For Peony's first clutch I used Peaches, a very colorful Coral Snow. Here is one of those babies:

Wow, mind-blowing colors! None of the coral snows I've ever owned have even came close to the ones you're producing! Awesome

I sent you an email seeing if any were for sale! I'd love to ad a new project like that to my herp room!

Oh My Gosh! That first male is unbelievable! They all are! Looks like you've definitely hit upon the right combination for intense pink! Put me on the list for a Blossom X Sonnet male the next time you pair them!

Poppy, I have to say WOW at all of these! My personal favorite snake of yours though, is that paradox ultramel anery ;) (Atleast, I think thats what it was..)

What does an adult look like? Those are amazing!!

For the first one, I would like to know that myself!!! I don't know of any other like this that has shown this much color this young.

As for the others, they look a lot like Sonnet did at that age, only better. Here's a not very recent photo of Sonnet, taken last March. He is now a bit more saturated coral in the saddles and the hot pink is slightly more coral-y pink. Sonnet is het Neon Pink

Here's Peaches, the other male who is pure coral.

I think Susan hit the nail on the head here. I suspect I am working with more than one gene and am finally getting homo for each of them simultaneously.

New morph? Certainly a new look...

BTW this boy needs a name if anyone has any suitable ideas.

For all those who want one...I plan to release the two Peony clutches for sale sometime in the next few weeks. There is a wait list, if you want to be on it, send an email to [email protected]. Makes it easier to manage the list that way.

Thanks. I bred Bricks back to his coral snow dam last year...two clutches...none like him, just snows and ultramel anerys. I plan to hold back a couple daughters and try again in a couple years.

I wonder what would happen if you bred avalanche stripes, using your pink snows for the snow portion? I wonder if you would get a solid very pink or coral snake???

Wow, that does sound nice. Know anybody with a nice avalanche stripe for a breeding loan?

But I should get close next year...I have het coral fires ready to breed. I should get coral fires & coral avalanches. The stripe will have to come in later, but my fire line is highly diffused so should be much of the way there!

Very beautiful!

Did the bloodline originate with you, or is it a line from another breeder? I have seen a couple of Cal. breeders on CS with some nice coral snows, and am wondering if they are related.

Keep up the good work!
