Pink & Coral Favorites, 2008

I don't care much for pink snakes... but those first ones are absolutely amazing! I'd be on the waiting list, but with only 5.1 hatchlings.. minus the ones you keep, I'm guessing the list is longer than there are babies

Did the bloodline originate with you, or is it a line from another breeder? I have seen a couple of Cal. breeders on CS with some nice coral snows, and am wondering if they are related.

I got the coral from Don Soderberg and the Neon from Stephan Wagner. I started with the very best I could get out of each of their programs. I haven't gotten any stock from any other California breeders. Stephan worked for years & years to develop the neon pink line and I don't believe his are related, at least not deliberately, to the Bubblegums.

I wondered if they might be from him. Seems like I have seen some very nice photos of Stephen's pink snows on this forum. I think Carol has also had some nice photos, although I don't know if their lines are related. I didn't know Don was working on them. But I am not surprised - he seems to have nice specimens of almost everything, lol!

I am working on an unrelated line of pink snows myself. The original ancestors came from some stock in north Florida years ago. But if your photos are any indication, then yours are much brighter pink than mine. I would be interested in obtaining some of your stock to merge into my own program one of these days.

Marsha I am glad you got them and want to say you are doing great with them. I will probably want to get a nice male neon x coral mix they are awesome! I have tried 2 years so far trying to get a pair of normals I have to produce a neon lavender motley,so far I have only got off shoots! Maybe this season:bang:

Thanks Stephen, I am so grateful for your patience with me fussing over which ones to get when I picked out my pair. Good luck to you on getting those neon lavender motleys this year. You know I have a standing order for a pair of those!

But if truth be told there's a certain percentage of hatelings in the pink group, especially the champagnes. We'll have to be careful in turning this morph loose on the Barbie set. "Nice" is one of my selection criteria for keepers.

I wonder, do/will as many of your male customers go for the pinks? They are extraordinary, so I certainly hope so! I quite like the fact that they are fiesty with it too! Good idea to keep the 'nice' though
