Prayers and thoughts needed

Well said. I'm not necessarily a religious woman, but I'm definitely a family woman. Though I don't tend to pray, there are situations that warrant it (as it certainly can't hurt). For me, the loves of people's lives fall into that category. I'll pray for you and yours.

Thanks Everyone

To all who sent their well wishes and prayers I want to thnak you. Caroline is out of ICU and doing much better. The infection in her heart has not spread and should be in check. She is expected to be in the hospital for another week or so and then should be home. She has been able to visit with her daughters, and that has really buoyed her spirits. Thanks again everyone

When you get this many people pulling and praying for you there is definately strength in numbers...glad to hear it!

I'm glad that your wife is recovering and that she has been able to spend some time with you and the children. I pray that everything continues to go well for you and your family and that she can come home soon.

awesome............Awesome...........AWESOME........ not to "ruin" the thread, but some thanks should be given at night, on/off your knees, next to yalls bed..............to the one ABOVE.
i have also worked all week.............clocked out tonight at 69 hours, for the week, and have another day to go (yes, on 9 straight, going on 15). it is very nice to come home to some good news.............thanks for updating.

Another Update

I wanted to thow this out again with the latest news. Right after my last update, Carolines Echo showed some leakage in her aortic valve. Of course the cardiac doctors threw out aortic valve replacement. After finally getting a bed in a heart hospital we had a surgeon come in with the wonderful news that surgery is not needed at this time.
SHe will need to have the valve replaced eventually, but that could be a year from now or ten years from now. On that we will let the cards fall whee they may.
But I am happy to report that my wife is now at home esting comfortably. She spent 29 days in the hospital. She is still going to be on the IV antibiotics for another couple of weeks, but since the fact that she is a veterinarian, the infectious disease doctor is letting her do it all at home through her pic line and actually using an infusion pump from her work.
She was happy to be able to finally hug and hold both of our daughters, especially our now four week old daughter Hannah. THanks again everybody. Now maybe I can get on the ball and clear out some of these babies I have laying aorund the house.

Glad she is doing better. Thats a long time to be in the hospital, im sure she is happy to be home. Thanks for keeping us up to date on her condition.
