premature hatchling?

Thanks for the update, i was thinking bout this lil guy/girl the other day. I'm sooo pleased the lil bubba is doing ok. Weldone you! :cheers: It's a credit to all the effort you have put in that this lil baby is doing well. It was very lucky to hatch in your care.
Yay! I love a happy beginning :dancer: (cos this soooo is not the end ;)).

Thanks you all, you make me blush :p I must say that the amount of care it needs so far does not exceed normal care a lot... the belly button gap was the worst part, I kept it on paper towel therefore instead of the regular bedding (I use something called Lignocel these days). If it digests well and eats another pinky I'll put it on the regular bedding soon :)

He regurgitated today :( It did also poo so and the pinky left over had turned into a meat chunk so the digestive track is working, it was just too big I think.... So, start pinky protocol for now.

Oh dear! Well hopefully he/she recovers quickly & starts feeding again soon (after the waiting period after regurge of course). I'm routing for it.

Bummer! Well, at least she pooped. Keeping fingers crossed that, after the regurge protocol, things will go better.

It has been force fed two pieces of mouse tail with some Nutribac so far, it does not eat those when put in the tub overnight. No problemo! It is doing fine, getting more active :)

I think it will, so far there is nothing wrong with it, besides the tiny size and weird head, the somewhat kinked looking neck seems to even out now :) And the behavior is a bit weird still... it cruises around and reacts to being handled like it is an experienced. well adapted adult corn.

Best wishes for the little one! (Especially from Lil my sausage snake who had such encouragement to get to be the big girl she is now!)

Update! It has eaten two force fed tails and ate two Nutribac powdered pinkies without head on its own and today one with head. So all goes well :) I think it has grown quite a bit from those meals. Here is a new pic;
