Progression thread: Tango the Cayenne Fire

Holy crap, serpwidgets puts Tango at about 3 ft. now! He's over 200g as well, and just shy of 15 months.

Grabbed a few quick (off center) snaps outside.

He's one of the best I've ever seen. I have one quite a bit older. A darker red with a cute white nose, and about four feet long. I've tried to breed him but both times he came down with a case of the "shys". He's the best tempered snake out of 48 corns who also think of this place as home.

Oh gosh, the "shys" don't tell me that lol, I need him to be ready next spring! Lol! Thanks for the compliments, guys. The story Don told me was that he was a hold back until he realized he had two males by mistake, so I'm not surprised he's turning out to be just fantastic.

Every time we set up the mini studio, we can't not take photos of Tango. Of course he was holding onto a nice big poop...I guess he wants to look fat? Boy loves to eat, that's for sure. We had cut his feeding time down to 10+ days but I've been more generous with the breeding season coming up. He appeared to be almost in brumation mode for a few weeks, only ever leaving his cool hide for food, but this week I've seen him roaming quite a bit. Hopefully this is a sign he'll be ready for the ladies soon.
