hi just wondering if anyone can help, i have a female butter motley, female lavender, and a amber male all serpenCo bred 2007 bought from kevin stevens (coast2coast) in england. just wondering what hatchlings to expect when they are breeding age? male to both females. thanks in advance for all your help . andrew patterson england

Amber is basically Caramel and hypo

Butter is Caramel and Amel

and Lavender is Lavender

Unless there are any hets involved you will end up with:

butterXamber= 100% Caramel, het Amel and het Hypo

amberXlavander= 100% normal het lavander, hypo and caramel

And since the butter is a motley, the caramels babies will also be het for motley. The next generation, when you breed the babies from each clutch to each other, are going to be very interesting and a bit more diverse.

Caramel het amel, hypo and motley X Caramel het amel, hypo and motley will give you not only caramels, butters and ambers, but also these in motley.

And the normals het lavender, caramel and hypo will give you what people are calling "mystery" snakes, as they have to prove that they are indeed lavender caramels, and with hypo added, you'll have some really interesting offspring!

thank you susan , i can not wait to find out what comes from my crossings and second generation, i'll keep you posted
