oldhand, you're welcome, glad I could help. :) And yes, the monkeys are rather pricy, but if you cosider that they live about 40 years in captivity, it's not so bad. They are cheaper than kids though. :) hehe...

yeah, it truly depends on the keeper and how involved they are in the animals life. 99 percent of people that own monkeys are very involved with them and do their best to make sure they have a happy healthy life. Mine, (elmo the spider monkey, our other one dexter belongs to my sister) actualy enjoys watching rodeos with me on tv. I think he likes all the action. :)



really??? thats awsome. Maybe if theyre really really really well behaved you could take them out on a leash to a real one. now that would be an interesting experience. or maybe a simple horse show?? that would be the cutest thing ever!
 
actualy my sisters monk Dexter went with us to church for 8 months 'cause when he was a baby he required feedings and diaper changes ever 45 minutes. he was extreamly well behaved. :)
