A Sunglow is a line bred Amel with no white (*some* people don't mind a bit of white stippling), and a bright, intense orange for a ground color.Dreqqus said:Doesnt the Motley gene intensify the colors???
I though a sunglow was an amel with no white. Ami I wrong there?
Weebonilass said:I have to agree Lore. My local shop has some hatchlings on sale as Bloods, based on what I've seen here they are definitely not bloods. The owner called the breeder who still insists that they are bloods. They look like gorgeous normals to me with some very busy side markings. The one I held yesterday had already started to develop some reallly great reds, while others from the clutch are still dark.
They are still being sold as blood since thats what the breeder insists, but they would definitely be a credit to the the normal morph.
SilentLore said:The question on that one tho would be did they have plain bellies? If they did then perhaps they are Bloods, just not the best diffusion going on just yet. :shrugs: Course if there are belly checks there, then ya, probably just stunning little normals.

SilentLore said::-offtopic I had to laugh I went to PetLand to look at a Bunny(I didn't get one tho) and as always I peek in on their reptiles. They had 1 very tiny Amel in one tank and 1 very tiny snow in the other tank... these babies were priced at a whopping $79.99!!!! OMG! :eek1: One of the workers saw me looking at them as was like are you interested in snakes? and I was like... ya... I have a few
and he went on to tell me that the Corn Snakes there were a rare form of the standard Corn Snake. I chuckled and told him that I could go to the monthly reptile expo and pick up these very snakes for $10-$15 each. :grin01:
