Grow up, believers. Death sucks.
Yay, now I can use some more fuzzy math logic.
According to Dean, death sucks. Therefore death = sucks
I think we can all agree that death is essentially a part of life, what lives is going to die. Therefore life = death.
If death = sucks and life = death, then life = sucks too. After all, it sucks to be born just so you can die.
If that somehow doesn't equate right for you. Then we can also assume that life = sucks for those on this planet that live in hostile environments, like uh, those affiliated with al-qaeda who live a life of hatred and violence amidst a hostile land. Life for them more than likely sucks (at least how us Westerners would view it). But, if they die, hopefully becoming a martyr, then they get to reside in heaven with 72 virgins which they think will bring them peace and happiness. Therefore in their eyes death ≠ suck. Why else would so many be willing to blow themselves up for the sake of martydom?
The truth is, we all will eventually know if death is a doorway or a wall. Regardless, I just want to make the most of my time here until that day comes.
And for CrazyDave, for all of your folly in trying to equate the existance of (a) god, you have forgotten one most important thing. If (a) god wanted it's existence known to everybody, we most assuredly would have that knowledge. The fact is, if there is a supreme entity, they want to keep their existence unknown until whatever time suits them. That's why when the motherships appear in 2012, I'll be ready to embrace our new
reptilian overlords.
