Wild caught InyoCounty Desert Rosy--Lichanura trivirgata gracia.

LOVE that triv triv in the first photo!

Thanks Chris! I love the Arizona Chocolates. Hopefully they stay burgundy-to-brown!

Such cute little squishies! More pictures guys!

"Arizona Chocolate"? Is that what is pictured in the first photo?

I believe that would be a Mexican Rosy--Lichanura trivirgata trivirgata. It's not a morph or a color phase, it's a species. And if that is what you have shown in the first picture, it's color will remain that way throughout it's life.

This is a triv triv from Maricop County, AZ.

It's an Arizona locale, Harquahala.

Harquahala Mountains
Lichanura trivirgata gracia Found on dirt road that goes to the 1920's Smithsonian Observatory on the peak of the mountain range. Very variable in stripe color and pattern. Clean - irregular orange - root beer stripes on a tan background. These are known as the "AZ Chocolate."

From http://www.localityrosys.com

I got them from Shawn Silva.

They are a really pretty chocolate on cream. Love them!

Looks like a Whitewater gracia, but rosy boas are fairly difficult to ID visually. Scale counts are important for proper ID where more than one ssp. are found in the same location...

I'm so excited because just yesterday I was thinking that I wanted to start a Rosy thread. Mine is being a pain in the butt to feed right now, and I need some good Rosy vibes.

Here is Ambrose (please excuse the cat hair):

Do you guys ever have problems with your squishies going off food in the late winter/spring? He's been a sporadic feeder since I got him, but it's just getting harder and harder to interest him in food. At the same time he is increasingly more active in his viv. I'm hoping he's just looking for a girlfriend, but his last meal was in mid-March so I'm starting to worry :(

If he were a cornsnake, I'd say don't worry at all! My longest cornsnake hunger strike was nearly six months and that snake only lost a few grams. It is quite normal for males to strike for a month or longer in the spring. How often are you feeding him?

Very awesome! If Pet Supermarket's supplier would finally call them back, I should be getting a rosy or two in the next month or so. :D They're so gorgeous.

I LOOOOOVE rosies! Especially triv trivs! I'm planning to get one this fall, since now I have a... vacant tank ;_;

*pets* D:

More of my kiddos!

They are SO tiny, but everyone ate last feeding! YAY!

I got the cutest little tiny itty bitty waterbowls for everyone, just to make sure the humidity doesn't get too high.

I love these guys!

Anyone else have more squishie-pictures?

I was trying to get him on a once a week schedule, but that has not been working. I try offering him food once or twice a week, and he was taking it on average every two weeks or so, but it has now been close to a month since he last ate.

Could he be blue? It seems to take Noah _forever_ to shed- much longer than a cornsnake.

He actually went blue and shed in mid-February, and of course he went off food for a couple of weeks before that (then ate ravenously once he'd completed the shed). Since he is about five years old, I'm assuming he isn't due for another shed anytime soon.

SQUISHIES!!! I miss mine. :( He was a doll, but almost never ate for me. I tentatively gave him to someone with more experience and he ate like a champ, so I let them keep him.

Do you have any pictures? :)

I KNOW there are more people with these cuties! Do I really need to just keep taking pictures of mine and posting them? :)
