If you're having trouble getting these things to eat, try rat pinkies over mice. I have had a little experience with both CB and WC babies and adults. The pickiest ones usually seem to go for the rat pinkies, even after several mouse refusals.
Not sure what it is. Perhaps captive rat pinkies more closely resemble their natural prey of kangaroo rats in terms of size and smell, or it could be any number of reasons. Whatever the reason, I have had good success with picky rosy and rubber boas using rat pinkies...
