Rosy vs Sand vs BP

So my fience would like to get some snakes of her own. She has narrowed it down to these three. I was looking for everyones imput on this subject. Thanks everyone!
 
Rosy! But that's the only one I have so far. I baby sat a baby BP for awhile & thought he was pretty neat. Had issues getting him on to F/T & sometimes they won't switch at all, so you have to be prepared to feed live. Also they can go on long feeding strikes. I didn't want a snake that got as big as a BP but liked his temperament, so looked into the Sand & Rosy. I held a Sand for about 20 min. & she tried to borrow into my hands the whole time. So based on that admittedly limited experience I'd say that Sands are way more shy than a BP or Rosy. A Rosy is in between the BP & Sand, very rarely see mine out & about in the cage but he is content to coil up on an arm or lap & pretty much go to sleep.
 
I say Rosy. Bigger than a sand (for the most part) and not as annoying to feed as a BP. A snake refusing to eat regularly or at all is extremely disheartening. Rosies are also better looking to me.
 
Rosy or BP. The feeding issues are real with BPs but they are so pretty and so chill, they will just hang out with her.
 
I love my BPs and my Rosy. I love the look of Sands, but have heard that they stay buried most of the time...so if she wants to see her snake much, that probably wouldn't be the best choice. BPs can be so frustrating when they don't eat (my girl once went almost 2 months straight without even thinking about eating, grr!), but if you can get one that is a garbage disposal like my male (he'll eat anything!) it would be a great choice. My Rosy is fantastic, though. She's slow moving and gentle and she really likes to hang out (though she likes to explore a lot too). I've heard they can be temperamental at times, but mine has proven to be the biggest sweetheart (*Knocks on wood* lol!). Good luck with your choice, though! I'm sure she'll like whatever you go with.
 
I don't own a rosy or sand boa, so I can't say anything about them. I will say that I absolutely ADORE my ball python. She eats like a horse (f/t medium rats), is as gentle as they come, and spends a considerable amount of time out of her hide, watching me (her viv is right here by my desk), the dogs or what appears to be the tv! I find her perfect in every way--not too big, not picky about food *knocks wood*, interesting and interested in the world around her, and as sweet and gentle as they come.
 
Another vote for a Rosy Boa. I _love_ my Noah the BOA!!!!!! and she's so nice and little and a perfect feeder and not all squirmy and wild, but stlil active- slow and easy to handle, has never bit me...

I vote Rosy! From what I understand BP's have higher humidity requirements. Rosy's thrive in dry conditions below 40% humidity, which I find easier and cleaner to maintain. My rosy is actually pretty active in and out of his viv, albeit incredibly slow-moving. He is one of my favourite snakes to handle.

I totally agree. lol. My female can be SO frustrating. However, my male is a garbage disposal. Wish he'd pass some of that on to my female. *Rolls eyes*
 
Usually they'll all eat eventually. I can't remember hearing of one starving to death...I think they try to diet to look more attractive to their dates :D :D :D
Anyway, BP's do require high humidity, which I struggled with until I covered the screen top in aluminum foil. Now all I do is mist it lightly once per morning and once per afternoon and it's perfect. :)
