Bring it on.
Now THIS boy is a very nervous snake. Last time, he didn't exhibit the full defensive display ("S"-shape, gaping, flattened neck), but only had his neck flattened with a few hisses. Today, however, he went ALL out to be as intimidating as possible! I didn't go outside with him in case he managed to squirm and get away. These guys are FAST, and he would be darn near impossible to catch. So these were actually taken in my kitchen. LOL

Aw look how much he loves you he couldn't stop saying Hi,lol Now give him a big kiss:) He's very pretty by the way hopefully in time he becomes less vocal:)

I have my first hateling myself.....pure evil at 10 inches,lol, but not nearly as cool looking all mad.
 
Well he doesn't look as sweet as Shuriken, but he looks great none he less, and those are great shots. Boy, that guy can really flare up, that's amazing!

Yeah, he's not. LOL. But he only bit me once! And it was the hand that was holding him, go figure.

i love lil guys trying to scare me. lol. awesome guy, and his lady friend in the other thread is gorgeous as well. you always have good pictures of your animals.
 
LOL. Too funny! I don't know, but somehow, he just doesn't look menacing to me. Now maybe if he had vertical pupils, THEN...

They just look scary to me. There's just something about vertical pupils, perhaps its just because most vertical pupiled snakes are venomous. Heck, they all are aren't they? I mean are there any snakes that have vertical pupils that are NOT venomous? Yes, go ahead, school me, hehe.

Okay, well yes, they do look menacing to me, except when they're babies. Now that wouldn't necessarily preclude me from ever owning one but I just prefer the look of Corn Snakes better, they look "cute" to me whereas Boas & Pythons, etc, don't (except when they're babies). I have a friend who has all kinds of different snakes, Boas & Pythons included, and when I lived close to her, I still would have held one if she offered. I held a 60 lb Boa at a Reptile Zoo when I was a kid and a Python that someone had out back when I was in the Air Force. But as far as owning a snake, yeah, I just prefer the look of Corn Snakes over Boas & Pythons.
 
What a scary little hateling you have there! AMAZING display! Great pictures of him, Robbie! Hopefully he mellows as an adult LOL
