So I've struggled for a long time to get a decent length measurement on my snakes. I had given up completely until I discovered Serpwidgets Snake Measurer. I was curious how many people, if any, have used this and how accurate do you all think it is? Thanks

I use it exclusively for measuring my snakes. I don't think any other method (such as measuring the shed or using a string) is as accurate.

I tried it out last night. I would say that the measurements I got sounded right. As far as I can tell I did it right. Even an inch or so off is ok by me.
Nanci, how is it done incorrectly? It seemed pretty straightforward to me

I have used it and love the concept, but I find it very difficult to use. It might be my browser or the size of my photos or something. For a big, docile snake it's quicker and easier for me to run a fabric measuring tape down their body hand over hand. For small or flighty snakes there'd be no way.
