Crazy Tarantula Lady
Yesterday my 1 yr old doxie got out of the yard and ran off. We spend hours searching, called all the appropriate businesses, put up fliers, done all I can think of.
I'm absolutely heartbroke, hubby is devastated. If she wasn't picked up by someone last night there is no way she could have survived the cold. Keep my baby in your thoughs and prayers, maybe she will still make it home.
 
I am deeply sorry for your loss..but don't lose faith..She could still be out there and someone may spot her and bring her home..good luck to you :0(
 
Good luck -animals have a way of surviving when we wouldn't expect them too! I hope you find her soon. My cat was gone for three days in freezing weather and he was fine. Put posters up and make sure you call all the rescues in your area!
 
I'm sorry and good luck in your search! I don't know what I would do if my dogs got lost.
 
Thanks everyone. I've done all I can, now I just have to wait and hope whoever picked her up is looking for me.

Um.. what is Doxie?? A dog? Cat? Child? Corn snake?? :shrugs:
 
Did you put an ad in Craigslist? Praying for her...Somebody has to have her- there's no way someone would leave an obvious pet dog out in the cold like that.
 
I'm so sorry!! I'm sure some one must have picked her up out of the cold if shes friendly. Dont loose hope!
 
Ya, I have a ad on cragslist. I'm sure someone has picked her up but she isn't terribly friendly with strangers though.
 
I'm prayin she comes home! Don't at all give up! My dutch bunny got out! He was gone for 2 days! I went door to door in my neighborhood the day he got out. 2 days later 2 neighbors came to the front door w/ him in hand. I was cryin' I was so happy! They found him hiding in their garden! So it can happen & does. :)
 
Does he have any tags on him or micro-chipped? For some odd reason I thought doxie was doberman..I have no idea why..Now knowing it's a Daschund makes me want you to find him even more...I don't know what I would do if my doxie went missing..He almost died before from a bad illness and I almost couldn't cope..Amazing how animals get so close in our hearts..
