short, girthy snake

TrpnBils

22 is not enough snakes
My fiancee wants to get a snake here in a few months and we're tossing around a few ideas. She wants something short but heavier-bodied.... like a ball python, but she wants some non-ball python ideas. Preferably between 2 and 5 feet adult size.

I think the rough scaled sand boa is a great looking snake and not too hard to care for, but does anybody here have any other ideas? She's also considering a male Borneo or Sumatran STP, or a male dumerils.

Any other species that would fit the bill?

A male Dumerils is gonna get bigger than 5 feet full grown. My boy is over 5.5'. Check out some of the locality dwarf boas (Hogg Island, Corn Isle, etc.) if you like the boa look.
