hmmmmm i think i could b looking for a new addition

these forums are bad ive been introduced to so many snakes that i want lol

I just read through this whole thread with much enthusiasm. She sure is lovely and watching those green specks form is great fun! I've always loved GTP's growing up...but I've always been intimidated by them as I never had reptiles as pets. Perhaps after a few years experience with other snakes I'll have to get one, they sure are stunning. Can't wait to see more.

Oh don't be intimidated. With chondros you end up being a keeper of a warm humid environment and not the snake LOL. Get the setup perfect and you have nothing to worry about. It's not hard to keep them at all, my setup is VERY simple. Just a plastic box with overhead heat from a heat mat controlled by a pulse stat and insulated with a sheet of polystyrene.

Good to know. I wonder there are any recommended chondro books? I might have to start saving up a little bit each month towards one a few years from now.
