Snake Behavior related to type of snake?

Here is the picture of my first snake, I still don't know for sure what type he is. As far as I can tell from looking around he is somewhat related to a sunkissed. He spends most of his time huddled up in either a corner behind a stick or in his hide. This is my roommates snake http://cornsnakes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=58167 . It seems to almost always be active and climbing around.

But my real question is just whether or not the type of snake has any relation to behavior.
 
He's an amel (amelanistic- without black). I would say that although various snake species are more calm or less calm, the individual snake's temperment is more of a determining factor. It's normal for a new snake, especially a baby, to be reclusive. You will probably see more of him as he gets more comfortable with his surroundings. Also, snakes are more active from dusk till dawn- you're not likely to see him out during the day, although there are snakes that are exceptions to that.

I'm confused...Who's snake is being discussed? The snake in the link from the OP looks like a normal. I'm not sure how one would infer sunkissed heritage just from looking around the forum. Unless you were referring to the snake's attitude. While, in general, it seems to be true that sunkisseds have more of an attitude than most other morphs, plenty of snakes that have attitudes have no known sunkissed heritage.

IIRC, bloodreds (I think it was bloods) started out as a line that tended to produce picky eaters. That doesn't mean that any snake that's a problem feeder must have bloodred heritage.

Most people will tell you the morph of snake doesn't have anything to do with behavior. Most corns tend to hide a lot - that's how mine spend their days. But don't worry, you see, corn snakes are addictive and pretty soon you'll have another one. Get one from a breeder and ask which one is the most calm and outgoing, and your chances of getting a cage roamer might improve. It's great to have two different 'personalities' in your snakes anyway. And who knows, maybe your amel will come around and grow up to be 'social', it's still a little early to tell how he'll be when he's an adult.

hey everyone sorry for the big mix up, CAS0001 is my roomate, i had the photos of his guy so he was on my computer uploading them, must have been some mistake when he put his photo on here, sorry for confusing everyone.
