Snake Eyes

betterboa

Mitch Kranz
I have been wanting to put this thread together for a while now, and finally got my macro lens and extension tubes out to get some true macro shots up to 3:1 ratio. No cropping. Beautiful

Some say the eyes contain markers? To me they are truly amazing. The individual beauty in each eye is remarkable.

So here is my Gift to you all. Merry Christmas! Enjoy!

Great shots! One doesn't think about how different eyes can be until you see them blown up like that. Thanks for sharing.

I love the silvery one! I love how in macro eye shots, you can see that the surface is, indeed, a scale, and it is scratched up from wear and tear!

There are pigeon eye charts that predict the winningness of any particular eye-sign. For racing.

Not boas but still pretty marvelous.

To continue my series.

Beautiful shots! I bet the snakes aren't too shabby either. I have to say though, the Leo Gecko eyes are purely wicked looking!! Love it!

Very nice. I want someone to take a picture of my eyeballs!!

I think that the leopard geckos are my favorite. I also think its neat how circular the cornsnake eyes end up being...
