So tempted to rescue this one

This poor snake "comes with a heat rock, light and tank" it's a spotted python on the Eugene craigslist. I am beyond broke at the moment to be able to come up with a rehoming fee and cannot possibly take on a rescue snake but it just made me really sad to see the picture they had of it. I can't believe this snake only has a heat rock to thermoregulate. I wouldn't be surprised if it has burns from that.

I can ship. I haven't a clue what the rehoming fee is. I was actually posting this hoping someone local might want to help, since I cannot do so myself at this time.
Send me a PM if you are serious about this...

I think I saw that one too. :(
It's so sad and it's very conflicting to me.. the snake obviously deserves a better home, yet I don't want to support these people's bad behavior.

Hopefully the re homing fee isn't too outrageous, and someone who has more interest gets this guy. Maybe we should email the owner and at least clue him in a little bit? I don't know if that would help at all though..
