SO WHO HAS THE BIGGEST CORNS???

I'd love to see pictures of them. :) Though they may not qualify as the biggest "Cornsnakes" persay (due to being hybrids), they certainly are fun to look at! But that's just my opinion, I'm not the OP. :)

I love seeing the pics of the beasts--and they are big. It just should be noted that they are bigger because they are crossed with a species that is bigger! Maybe some of the "bigger" corns secretly hide some hidden hybrid genes that make them bigger!

My biggest boy is still under 400g, but he is eating like a pro and growing at a good rate!

OK. So here are pics of the beast pair. Just to let you all know..these are cross between Black Rat and Cornsnake.

Big papa is now 1210 grams...

Big mama is 1100 grams after egg laying...

Ok, first off, I AM, the original poster on this one! I am thinking of having this thread moved to my personal forum. I am feeling like everyone who is the OP should have disclosures for their post. With that said, on to my replies to the following:

:eek:WOW..."and 'MY'..what big corns you have grandma"...
all the better to....uh...anyway...

Great Idea PJ..I had no idea where I was going with that..LOL.
I will have to post a pic of my "BIG" guy later when my computer stops acting out...:smash:

~~Amanda:cheers:

Oh sweetie, you didnt just call me GRANDMA!!!! :roflmao: I would be honored if you got your big guy posted! Go for it!

i didn't see anything saying they couldn't be hybrids.. :shrugs:
Did you happen to read the first post?
I have been thinking about this a lot lately. It seems I have quite a few "huge" corn males on hand. I was thinking it would be fun to show off our Big Ones! I was thinking of offering a "prize" to the Queen or King of the Big Corns!

Big would mean, over average in all aspects. Morph is no issue, bring them on. Are most huge corns males? Any particular morph over another? Let's have fun and show off out big boys and big girls!

With being said, I think I was saying CORNS and this is a Cornsnake forum and the thread was started in the Miscellaneous Corn Snake Discussions. I know I did include a Corn x Emoryi Hybrid in my pictures. Anyone with any corn crosses would be welcome to show off their "BIG boys and girls. It is not a contest, I, on my own doing, may offer the owner of the hugest corn, a prize.

Please know that I am not upset with you, but I just want to stop this before it starts anything. Things on CS.com are getting a bit crazy and I DO NOT want to be a party to it. With Becky being my friend, I would, of course, not minded seeing the Beasties on my thread.

Well Jim, I could post the beast but they aren't full blood corns so not sure if the OP would want them up here. :)

Becky, should have known I would be ok with it....OH YEAH....you did...I see them posted before I could say a word! :dgrin:

I'd love to see pictures of them. :) Though they may not qualify as the biggest "Cornsnakes" persay (due to being hybrids), they certainly are fun to look at! But that's just my opinion, I'm not the OP. :)

Nicely put Em!

Sarah, interesting thought indeed, but as for my CORNS, I know they are pure, unless it is a gene from their WC ancestors. As for our Creamsicle, he is part Emoryi, and I have not seen a huge Emoryi snake but than again, I have never asked.

I guess that is kinda where I would like to see this thread go. Just something of interest and it is really cool to see pictures of these wonderful animals.

Thanks, no hard feelings,
Hugs,
PJ :wavey:

As we can see, the Beasties, are huge! Being part Black Rat, I would have expected them to be BIG corn crosses.

I am bit surprised that we have a huge Creamsicle. I have not seen really huge Emoryis before. I am have no great expertise on Emoryis, I do own a 2.1 and I have been doing my research as I go.

So are there any really big Corn/Emoryis out there? How much corn or emoryi line has been bred back in? Does make a difference? Oh gosh, I hope this doesnt start me a side project :sidestep:

I do have a big Upper Keys Outcross. Could his size be contributed to being only once removed from his WC parents and them having other rat genes?

Boy, the things my mind seems to be running off with lately. Sorry! :sidestep:

Smiles,
PJ :wavey:

PJ..this sounds really bad. Last night in chat I was told Jim wanted me to post pics and some one gave me a link to this page. I never went back to see who the OP was. LMAO I had no idea it was you! Silly me..maybe I should look next time. :)

I've got a HUGE Amel:

Seriously though, she measures 1/2" under 5' and stays around 1000 grams lately. She was this weight before, when she was a little shorter, but I slimmed her down.

Here's a recent pic, but it doesn't really show size (she's on a big chair?)

Nice amel girl you have Alan!

I am thinking that Amels seem to have the lead as for the largest morph at this point. Even "Zuko", our large normal is het amel!

Keep them coming guys...

PJ :wavey:
