They are very shy. First they musk all over you and you smell like a dead corps. Then they hiss. And if all fails, they play dead.

When you turn them on their bellies again they immediatly flip on their back again. "you see? I am really dead'. LOL

They almost never bite. I think I have been bitten only twice or so.

Sounds good to me! Hunting is something I have yet to do, but I always helped my dad carve up the deer!

The only things I can find in the fields are bad smelling common ribbon garter snakes.

Wow, me and my mate are planning to go over the Chase (forest near me) and look for some grass snakes. Minding the adders of course.
Great shots, and our native snakes aint bad lookin are they! :cool:
