Because Nanci ask me to...haha.
For those wanting to get a DSLR,watch out. I tell you,it's quite addicting. I thought I was only gonna get a DSLR to take good shots of my snakes. Was I ever so wrong. Since getting my camera,it have pushed me to learn photography. There's things in photography I had no idea about. ISO,aperture, exposure value, blown highlights....what is that? haha Things i've learned since. I think it's impossible to buy a DSLR and not want to learn photography. Anyways, these are some of my shots since my DSLR ownership.

Love your photos!!! I really like the water droplet. I've been wanting to learn photography for a long time, but it is put on hold until I get some free time away from studying other things. Did you start out as a (nearly) complete newbie? Did you go to classes? Or self taught?

Complete newbie. Classes....youtube haha. I guess you can say i was willing to learn.

Amazing pictures!!! I have to admit I have been into photography when I was younger and have quite a few old 35 millimeter cameras around. I have not jumped onto the DSLR yet but when I see amazing pictures like this I am so wanting a new camera!!!

I _knew_ this was going to be amazing!!! You have a gift- that was clear from the first photographs you posted here. Just beautiful.

I use different software for different things. Lightroom for editing raws. CS5 for extensive editing involving layers and stuff. Photomatix Pro for HDR work.

Oh cool. I just switched to Mac, and am learning LR3. I pretty much only do herp/garden photos, though, not people/landscapes/buildings.

These pictures are amazing Whoty. What type of camera are you using? I'm currently looking for a good camera and would like to get into photography.

Many of those photos would make excellent desktop wallpapers! My photography isn't nearly as good as yours, but I have to agree that getting a DSLR has really made me more interested in photography. For about the full first year of me owning it, I just kept it on full auto all the time, but now I'm slowly learning the manual settings.
