i was watching it at petsmart..thought it was a salmon snow at first with how highly pink it was but when i went back recently it had shed and then i realized it wast just a snow but still pretty as heck. since they had dropped the price another 20.00 to make it 34.99 i couldnt resist and brought her home that night.

Soooooo.... What kind of Canon did you get? My wife just treated herself to a brand new Canon Rebel T3i with 3 lenses. LOL. Her Christmas gifts after that all had to do with her new hobby. :) I hope you're enjoying yours as much as she's enjoying hers!

Exactly what I got! I'm now playing with the wide angle add on lens. I've got a big telephoto lens too and a macro lens I still have to experiment with. I can't wait for the weather to get better so that I can go outside with the UV filters on to work with those. This was a big surprise for me! Didn't even ask for it, but I've wanted one. Our old Olympus was just old and worn out. The battery door no longer stayed shut and we had a zip tie to keep it closed so that I could use it. It took nice pictures though.
 
He usually does. I have NO complaints with the hubby...he allows me the snakes without question and gets me cool stuff like that!

HA!!! Very kewl! My wife has done NOTHING but photos since she got hers (about a week BEFORE Christmas). Today, her macro lens should be in and I won't see her except for the "look at these" shots. LOL. I don't mind, though... as long as she's happy.

My youngest daughter has a camera with a similar predicament as your old Olympus... BUT, she loves it and when given the opportunity to buy a new one this year, she said, "... but I LOVE my camera... it takes nice pics!". :)
