southwestern US desert!! wooo

Have an amazing trip! I grew up in the shadows of the superstition moutains in Arizona and I loved it. Remeber that some catus are truly evil...don't get anywhere near the fluffy cactus... I swear it's a nightmare. LOL!
Also remeber to keep an eye out for roadrunners, feral mustangs, pronghorn *if you go northern arizona in particular, and those adorable jackalopes. :)

If you bring a laptop and can get internet access while your down here, I am pretty well smack dab in the middle of the Mojave.. Keep the name Calico in mind, thats my area.. Are you guys going to be cruising a Van with Ontario Plates? Who knows, I might run into you guys as I stomp through the Mojave on evenings and days off.. Unfortunantly in about two weeks time I will be working that weekend, which is probably when you would come through the area I suspect..

Hey guys, I just got back from my cross-country (*ies) expedition and had an amazing time! I'm uploading pictures now and will post a few under the general section since it technically wasn't solely a herping trip.

Tim- I had no internet access, but surely would of liked your snake-hunting skills! I did end up camping in Mojave and hiked around Calico basin....such a beautiful place!!

Calico is my back yard my friend.. I should have paid more attention for Canadian plates in the area... My luck I would have been working OT, but I could have found a few sites of intrest for you there, and likely fauna.. If you would have went to the 76 Gas station and the 20 somes were working, and you said my name, I bet they would have called me..

Hope you enjoyed your stay, and maybe the next time we will cross pathes.. There are certainly some intresting adventures in the area huh...

Regards.. Tim of T and J
