marinneli

Just lovin' Cubes!
Normals are hatelings? Au contraire mes amis!!! :D
I like normals because they're originals and most "snake-like".

Here are my two different normals which are possible keepers. The male first. He's yellowy, fudge colored and really huge for his age: 49g and he's only 4 months old. He's got a very nice personality too. Lovely to handle.

This first pic shows his colours the best.

my first true tongue shot! :)

And here's his miami-ish bad-ass sister who still needs some TLG (tender leather gloves). :D She hisses at me and tries to bite when touched, but she's beautiful!

Maize truely is a wonderful normal! She has the best personality and some of the most beautiful colors!

Artemis is my newest baby and I love her to death already! Haven't handled her yet so I can't really say how her personality is..She was pretty sweet when I moved her from her transfer box to her tank...but don't know if that says much..lol

I really like the colours of the male. Are they the true colours I see?

Thanks! I like his colours too. :licklips:
The pics have been taken with soft flash mode, but the colours look pretty true. And he's only poss. het. amel so no known hets coming through.

Wow, she's really RED! Beautiful! Do you have baby pics of her? I'd love to see how she's progressed as she's grown.

And thanks for the compliments. :)

Maize almost looks lava-ish, doesn't she? With those purple, very reduced borders. Not saying she's anything but a normal, just resembles a lava.

This is Bacon, 2004 het opal stripe. Bred by Sean Niland, proven breeder. (His intended wife is only 35 grams, hopefully he won't be using a walker by the time she's up to 300!)

This is Cherry, (Cher Bear) who came to me from Carol, although she was not bred by Carol, yet she is from Huddleston lines. This is a snake who can win over even non-snake lovers. She "infiltrates" people! Cherry is quite intelligent, and sometimes sleeps in a hammock!

This is Colorado, a 2007 Huddleston Miami belonging to Stephanie (DesertAnimal) but living with me for a year. She described him as shy, but actually, he's out more than most of my others and loves to come out to watch TV! He does not sit stll, yet.

This Maizey, LTC Alachua County locality, my first snake since moving to Florida. The first cornsnake I ever saw. Who knew a few years later I would have 20 snakes! He's an estimated 2003. This is the snake that taught me about male hunger strikes! Thanks a lot, Maizey!

Whoooaaa! That's a normal I'd kill for! I just pray my normal male will eventually grow up looking at least a little like her.

Yay! Someone else who uses gloves for small snakes!

 Hehe...yup! i know they can't do any harm with their tiny teeth and the bite doesn't actually even hurt (tried that), but I don't want to be shaky when handling a little devil like her. First of all I might drop her and second of all the snake is more calm when i'm relaxed. So I've decided to be a wimp and go with gloves. :D

Have you had Miss Eva since a hatchling?? If so I would like to see any pictures, to see the colour change.

Unfortunately, no. She was rescued as an adult by someone who was keeping her with another adult female classic and an adult male creamsicle. Both of those belong to a friend of mine (the classic actually passed away a few days ago, possibly because of old age).

Here's Hattie, she's got all the hets to make ghost bloods and is my boy Pinkerton's future mate.. She's an 07.
She had a couple of regurges very early because I had not noticed her first hidden in the aspen and fed her shortly after.. That slowed down her growth for a while, but she's starting to catch up now.
