I got my first non-corn today! He is a Columbian BCI. I am so in love with him! I can't get over how gorgeous he is. His name is Isahn....My reasoning? He is a BCI, I = Imperator, which means Emperor. Emperor is my b/f, Chris' favorite metal band....so, since Chris didn't want me to get the snake, I named him after a member of the band so he might like him more :)

Here's the pic from the breeder (Denny and Kathy Rimes). He actually has a lot of pink on his sides that doesn't show up in the pictures.

I didn't want to do an actual photo shoot with him, since he's stressed, but here's one I took...

He is just a little sweetheart. He wasn't even mad when I first took him out of the box. He hasn't made any threatening gestures. I thought for sure he'd be ornary after being shipped, but he acted like nothing happened. What an awsome snake....I think I started a new addiction :grin01:

Congrats

Congrats on your 1st Bci!!! Handsome young fellow too!
It's always been impossible for me to stop with only one. :shrugs Best of luck with your new addiction!

Welcome to the boa club! Boa's are tons of fun. I'm trying really hard not to go buy another one. It's easier to stop myself with boas than it is with colubrids, because all I have to do is look at the size of Leviathan's cage, and then look at the size of my room.. lol.

Congratulations. He sure is a looker.

Congrats on your new member of the family! He is gorgeous! I'd say bonus that he's got such a good attitude after shipping too!

great, would you mind your pictures being added to the "Cornsnakes.com" youtube introduction video?

Sure, you can use them :) Shouldn't it be just cornsnakes though?

The video will be about all the community and there snakes, for sure this is a corn snake forum "and that will be made clear on the video" but we do show pics of other snakes and somepeople own other snakes then just corns, so thanks very much ill add em into it now :) if you have anymore, ANYTHING like your snake pictures or even better vids, then please post back or pm me! :p

Luv ya all :)

PcS!

He just looks like a sweetheart! Inez kind of gets that expression when I'm holding her- kind of dreamy- but I'm afraid to wake _her_ up! I bet your guy just _stays_ sweet.

I was going to post a link to the breeder's site...but I can't find it now....dang it. :shrugs:

You won't be able to post a direct link to the breeder's site here. But if one were to search around the kingsnake page, you'd probably find a link.
