Damn dude, I'm never going to catch up at this rate. I should give you my list :grin01: you seem to find some great ones. Oh yeah, side note, I restrained myself at Repticon which wasn't hard as it was as lame as you said (Didn't find one thing on my list), but I did get myself a herp hook for $20 for this summers adventures. Oh, and I rekindled my want of lizards and will try to get a little colony of Peacock Day Geckos (male and a couple females) for a 20L I can get cheap... so if you come across some of those in your travels a point in their direction would be much appreciated :crazy02:

Thanks, but yours should be a real beauty if it's a white oak, mine's just an average grey

we'll see...i was told he was a white oak. and i got him here in tallahassee, where they're native. and so far with each shed he's kept his light coloring.

If you have a white oak, it would be obvious! Here are pics of mine...

(I'll post more pics of the male later when I have time to hunt them down!)

awww dont throw rocks at it! greys are hard to come by....i've only seen maybe 2 for sale. i've heard they arent easy to breed at all.

how old are yours, Terri?
mine is only a baby. i got him in Nov 05. i believe his hatch date was around Sept or Oct. and i say "we'll see" if he's true white oak or not, because all grey rats (or at least the hatchlings i've seen) look nearly identical. the white oaks just retain their juvenile coloring.

You're killing me! Gotta go through rocks at my grey now :grin01:
LOL...I meant to include an apology to you Mike (for posting my pics here), but didn't have time! Sorry...

You'd better not throw rocks at your new guy! He's gorgeous, too!

Tyger, my female is an '04 and my male is an '05. The girl has been kind of a slow grower, but has started having some good growth spurts. I really look forward to breeding them in a couple of years!

ah very cool! good luck with the breeding! maybe if you get a few you could sell one to Mike so he can add it to his collection and quit throwing rocks at his grey rat! :crazy02:
shadow is kinda puny too. he's only about 18" now. but he's always been a problem eater. he would eat one week and then refuse to eat the next week...or i'd offer him two pinkies and he would only eat one. now i'm trying to feed him 2 pinkies every 4-5 days. so far the last 3 feedings he's taken both pinkies. so we're making progress.

Dorian would fit him very well! Where did you get the this name from?
From a novel by Oscar Wilde, "The Picture of Dorian Gray". The picture aged over time. There were a few movies made as well. And my good friend Jon Oliva (Savatage) paid homage in "Tonight He Grins Again" on the Streets CD.
"I walk away, the shadow of Dorian Gray" :wavey:
Another Pic for you

I think Blackmore's Rainbow had a song called 'A picture of Dorian Gray' as well.
It was a creepy Oscar Wilde story if I remember it right- Dorian made a deal with the devil that he would stay young and the picture would age instead...
But the name does suit that snake!
