I was just curious if any one has actualy had a corn only want to eat one thing. The reason I ask is because I found a source of gerbil pinkies thought it would be cool to add that along with the pinkie mice. I was warned that some snakes dont go back to mice after gerbils. I thought the only snakes that really get addicted to gerbils were ball pythons because that is a natural food source for them. I must get to the bottom of this.

Well, lots of hatchlings are difficult to get started, so they may only take live (or some other method) initially. Sometimes they never seem to want to switch to thawed. I've had a few that would eat normally and then decide randomly they didn't want their regular food. After long enough you try a few things and sometimes they stick.

I have had corns stuck on live mice and rats more times than I care to recall, and one that only ate dark mice. By not offering anything but f/t mice (stubborn new hatchlings excepted, of course), I have avoided this for the last few years. I am really not a fan of switching up foods. I have had no problems switching back and forth with hairless mice, knock on wood!
