And that's exactly why I would also personally consider it more banded motley than motley. Banded motleys have the squarish saddles that do in fact stretch down towards the ventral. But regular motley's have saddles that "melt" towards one another closing off the ground pattern. There's no "melting" of the saddles on that snake and the saddles themselves are close together and squarish as in a banded motley example . . . they just don't extend to the ventral. :shrugs:From the top view it looks different then what would be called a "Regular" Motley so I thought it would qualify as banded.
